This is a program in which an individual is hired on a contractual basis for a certain period of time to render service and the same time be trained for their related course or skill. OJT’s hired are not necessarily a degree holder or a graduate of any vocational course. The qualifications being looked for depend on the hiring company or establishment. You may not receive a salary, but allowances are provided. Although allowances are low, at least it can help while you are learning and proving your worth to the company. During the period you will be trained and observed. If the trainer sees you as a potential worker, he/she might recommend you for a regular employment or absorbed you to work with them. When the training ends and you are not hired by the company, at least your experience with them will be an additional qualification in your resume.
